What this year means to me.

it's been for long since the last time i updated my blog. well then, here it goes.
let me go straight to the point. there are lots of things that happened to me recently, i always find myself busy with many things. with this year, i know there's something great going to happen. God has something in store for me.

one thing i've learned in life is that, we should always PRAY in almost every circumstance in our lives. even at times when you felt the need of God's help, i've also realized that HE indeed is always there for you no matter what happens. you'll just feel it. and that's what we call spiritual discernment, something that can't be seen by our naked eye.

people are always into new year's resolutions, well, i think i'm up for it! and it's time for me to fulfill those (haha), and i swear to myself that i will be meeting them this year. and here are the following:

read more books. (esp inspirational books)
spend less time in front of the computer. (just a bit..haha)
to do my BEST for God's glory in everything i do.
to meditate God's word before going to sleep.
to be more prayerful at all times.
to drink less coffee and more on fresh milk. (haha)
less time on texting and more on calling (thanks to Globe's dial 232, 235 and 236..haha)
to update my blog always.
to buy stuffs that are really important.
to budget my money and be more disciplined on my spending. (hehe)
to eat less rice and more on fruits.
to be more burdened for my COUNTRY. (..on sharing the vision of THE BROWN RAISE MOVEMENT -
http://thebrownraise.org/)
to pursue my studies and be able to finish it.
to watch more movies on the big screen not on the web and on the dvd player. (haha)
to find a ministry in our church to serve our one and only KING of KINGS!

you might be wondering that i should've posted this before new year's day! well, yesterday's chinese new year! KUNG HEI FAT CHOI. haha. and one last thing, i should start loving what's on the east. enough about on the western culture. haha. for in the east is where the sun rises and it's HAPPENING. and i wanna be a part of it.

so, that's it. God guides everyone!

The prayer of the gimper named JABEZ (read 1 Chronicles 4:9-10)

Hey guys! Thanks you so much for reading this post that I have just recently posted. I would really appreciate if you'll leave some comments. Thanks. I know, for some of you, or most of the Christians are familiar with this man named Jabez. And He's a gimper. What do we mean by gimper anyway? A gimper according to Seume was someone who always does a little more than what's required or expected. Are we like that? Do we always do the extra mile in everything we do? Or just do things plain and simple. And then that's the end of it? Our mind is always preoccupied on reaching success. But in the life of this man named Jabez. He did something in life that is really extraordinary that made God answer his prayer. If we will try to look back in the history, names does have its own meaning. And in that time where names are meaningful which greatly reflects who you are. (as what they used to say) The name Jabez, means "pain." Now, what are you thinking of right now?...

The book called.. THE SECRET

I wonder why I have this book. In the first place, it wasn't mine. I only borrowed it from a friend of mine who is also interested on reading the book. Actually, the manner that I had when I borrowed the book isn't that really okay. But because of the kindness that my friend had shown to me, I took advantage of it. Haha! I really forced her to lend me the book even if she wasn't yet finished reading it. But what I'm wondering is that, why am I so excited to read this book even if I had no idea at all what the book is all about. Is it because of the title of book that gives me an impression that indeed it was really an interesting book to read at. The book was called THE SECRET. The first time I glanced the book, it was like a tickle of mystery that I felt. Then, right at the moment when the book was introduced to me, I just borrowed it. And this friend of mine agreed. The first time I read the book, I thought that there is nothing wrong with it, but soon as I dig deep i...

GLOBAL VILLAGE

What comes first into your mind when you hear something about GLOBAL VILLAGE? I know this may sound new to you for those who's unfamiliar. But let the Merriam-Webster dictionary define Global Village. Global Village - the world viewed as a community in which distance and isolation have been dramatically reduced by electronic media (as television and the Internet). And for other definition, Global Village means, it's the entire world and its inhabitants. Now, why do I come up with this kind of topic. What's the connection of this compound word in our lives as a Filipino individual? Read on to find out. Very interesting. We have just recently celebrated our church's 25th Anniversary. And coincidently, that was the theme of our church anniversary. It was quite very interesting because Global Village really is a technical term for this digital world. But if we will try to look it in another perspective, in a basic understanding, look at it literally. GLOBAL.. and then VILLA...
