The book called.. THE SECRET

I wonder why I have this book. In the first place, it wasn't mine. I only borrowed it from a friend of mine who is also interested on reading the book. Actually, the manner that I had when I borrowed the book isn't that really okay. But because of the kindness that my friend had shown to me, I took advantage of it. Haha! I really forced her to lend me the book even if she wasn't yet finished reading it. But what I'm wondering is that, why am I so excited to read this book even if I had no idea at all what the book is all about. Is it because of the title of book that gives me an impression that indeed it was really an interesting book to read at.

The book was called THE SECRET. The first time I glanced the book, it was like a tickle of mystery that I felt. Then, right at the moment when the book was introduced to me, I just borrowed it. And this friend of mine agreed. The first time I read the book, I thought that there is nothing wrong with it, but soon as I dig deep into it, I felt like something is wrong with it. What the heck a Universe could do to us? Isn't it that it was God who created all of these things, all of what surrounds us? I know what reaction you have on your faces right now.

The main focus of the book is about a law. A law where in the author claims that it was a secret that has been kept for a long.. long time. Where most of the most intellectual giants in the history had known namely, Plato, Galileo, Beethoven, Edison, Carnegie, Einstein, along with the other inventors, theologians, scientists and great thinkers. It was actually taught in our schools. And if you are really interested in Science, this book is for you.

We all know that we're all facing different kinds of issues in life. Different circumstances, challenges, problems, trials, whatever you call it, it may sound redundant but I just wanted you to understand what the book is trying to point out. But in the long run, we have never realized that we can all achieve what we want in life by just learning this so-called ultimate principle that we can apply in our lives and that is THE LAW OF ATTRACTION. Do I hear, ohhs and ahhs? Well, I know this book has been released for a long time already for those who are familiar to it. Actually a movie has already been produced just for the book to become more realistic.

The Law of Attraction by the way simply means, "Like attracts Like." That whatever it is that your thought is thinking at, and you believed so, it will happen. When I do a further research about this, most of the people who have already read the book said that the book was merely focused on material wants. That the things that could only make your life happy are nothing but material possessions. Of course it's not totally focused on that, it also says that it can also brought healing into broken relationships, physical healing, emotional healing and so on and so forth. Most of them said that it's just another self-help book. Because the subject was just something that is no longer new to us. Having a positive thinking is one of the things that is strongly connected about this subject. That if we always think positively, whatever it is that you like to do and want to will most likely happen.

Some religious sectors find it a New Age kind of teaching, but some of them thought of it in a different perspective. Nothing is really wrong with it but what I'm really wondering is that why is it so much focused as well on the response of the Universe. Why not go straight to God whom we all know as the all-knowing Father of all.

I know that there are many things that are boggling in our minds but all is said. If you don't want it, just ignore, but if you think that it was something right, then you can freely do follow it. But if you'll be asking me, I was on the neutral side. Why? It is simply, I still want the Lord to be involved in those things. Nothing but the Lord alone. He is the only one who could determine what's good for you and He knows even the number of strands of your hair.
