Father's Day

What is a Father's Day for all of us? Is it just an occasion that we all celebrate during the 2nd Sunday of every month of June? Or is it really a day where we honor our dads from being a great dad on our homes. I know that some families doesn't have any father at all, but it doesn't mean that that is where it ends. Because we all have a Father that we can always look on to, and that is God. And He will always forever be our father. But what kind of challenge it is being a father? Being an earthly father isn't an easy role to be. There are lots of responsibilities, sacrifices, he needs to have a a stable job, he should already learned how to lead the family, take care of them and so on and on.. and that is for only one reason, to sustain the family's daily needs. And being a father will most likely face different kinds of circumstances in life that you should always be responsible of. Might as well the same thing goes being a mother. But we will just focus on father...

The book called.. THE SECRET

I wonder why I have this book. In the first place, it wasn't mine. I only borrowed it from a friend of mine who is also interested on reading the book. Actually, the manner that I had when I borrowed the book isn't that really okay. But because of the kindness that my friend had shown to me, I took advantage of it. Haha! I really forced her to lend me the book even if she wasn't yet finished reading it. But what I'm wondering is that, why am I so excited to read this book even if I had no idea at all what the book is all about. Is it because of the title of book that gives me an impression that indeed it was really an interesting book to read at. The book was called THE SECRET. The first time I glanced the book, it was like a tickle of mystery that I felt. Then, right at the moment when the book was introduced to me, I just borrowed it. And this friend of mine agreed. The first time I read the book, I thought that there is nothing wrong with it, but soon as I dig deep i...

My Tech Gadgets (a review)

Wonder which brand of cellphone I have? Well, here in the Philippines, the most popular brand here was NOKIA. Mine is the Nokia 6300. For me it is the best phone that I've ever had. Why? It's because of it's unique features and design. It may not be the best phone of all but I love it very much. The best feature that I know about on my phone is the 2 mega pixel camera that always come in handy at times when I need something to be captured. It doesn't have the flash but the camera quality was really good during daytime, it was as clear as the digital camera's photo quality. However, the video quality isn't that good. An example of a photo that was taken from our vacation trip. See the image below. The second thing that I liked the most of my phone was it's looks. I really loved it's metallic design. It was so simple and easy to use and the good thing is, it comes with a case, and that is to avoid the scratches. It was so easy to navigate and I easily get ...

Youth Camp '08

I just want to share my experiences on the youth camp that I had recently attended. The youth camp this year is probably one of the best youth camps that I have ever attended. My role there was not actually a camper but a counselor with lots of responsibilities to handle with. It was not really a joke for you to handle an approximately more than 200 young delegates/campers. Age that ranges at 11-20 years old. Most of the campers were from our neighbors in the province and most of them were also a Compassion recipient. Sponsored children and youths. I, as an individual counselor, I believe I handled less than 20 campers and my role is of course, to take care of them. It wasn't really a time of enjoyment on our end but my heart was glad everytime I see them getting serious for God. The camp lasts for 4 days and it was stressful on our part. But we're all still glad every time we see them participate on our activities. Such as outdoor activities, session hall activities, and so o...

The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian

Prince Caspian is a part of the Narnia series which was written by C.S. Lewis. The story is still focused on Narnia, of course, that was back then ravaged by the Telmarines. When Prince Caspian the 9th ruled over, his uncle Miraz wants to dethrone him and planned to kill him. That's why he went away and look for some place to seek help with. Caspian was then found by the 2 dwarfs and a talking badger. The Narnian creatures discovered that the prince has the magical horn which was said that it has a magical power. When the prince was in danger, he blew the horn and that made the Pevensies back again in the world of Narnia to help gain Narnia's freedom back. The story tells us something about the New Age, that's why if you'll notice on their movie posters, it says, "The New Age Has Begun." Indeed, it really is. C.S. Lewis was really very brilliant, because his writings were really timely. No wonder why he is one of my favorite authors. The movie is somehow viole...
