Best of the Best. Team 8 Mile @ Punta Fuego

We did it again! Team 8 Mile for the second time. Our team got the title for being this year's Best of the Best! One of the things that I really love with the company I'm in is that they know how to recognize people. That in every effort and sacrifice, there's the reward. I am really proud that I got in to this team. With each and everyone's contribution, we made it to this recognition event. And not only that, we even enjoyed Punta Fuego which is in Nasugbu, Batangas even if it's the second time. Well, we have some of our new team mates with us and I hope they enjoyed too. The ff. are some of the pictures that I've uploaded on my Facebook account.

I would like to commend my ever supportive team leader, Carmen Zantua, who's always there to encourage and push us to give our best. It pays to aim higher. I know there's a long way ahead of us. But I'm just so thankful that we had this chance to do bonding and enjoy every moment we spent. I am so looking forward for you guys to give the best shot for next year and be a part of the Best of the Best again. To my avid readers of my blog, I thank you. Just wanted to share this experience. For I really love to travel and go to different places. Need to rest now, for we're all back to work again tomorrow.

The prayer of the gimper named JABEZ (read 1 Chronicles 4:9-10)

Hey guys! Thanks you so much for reading this post that I have just recently posted. I would really appreciate if you'll leave some comments. Thanks. I know, for some of you, or most of the Christians are familiar with this man named Jabez. And He's a gimper. What do we mean by gimper anyway? A gimper according to Seume was someone who always does a little more than what's required or expected. Are we like that? Do we always do the extra mile in everything we do? Or just do things plain and simple. And then that's the end of it? Our mind is always preoccupied on reaching success. But in the life of this man named Jabez. He did something in life that is really extraordinary that made God answer his prayer. If we will try to look back in the history, names does have its own meaning. And in that time where names are meaningful which greatly reflects who you are. (as what they used to say) The name Jabez, means "pain." Now, what are you thinking of right now?...

The book called.. THE SECRET

I wonder why I have this book. In the first place, it wasn't mine. I only borrowed it from a friend of mine who is also interested on reading the book. Actually, the manner that I had when I borrowed the book isn't that really okay. But because of the kindness that my friend had shown to me, I took advantage of it. Haha! I really forced her to lend me the book even if she wasn't yet finished reading it. But what I'm wondering is that, why am I so excited to read this book even if I had no idea at all what the book is all about. Is it because of the title of book that gives me an impression that indeed it was really an interesting book to read at. The book was called THE SECRET. The first time I glanced the book, it was like a tickle of mystery that I felt. Then, right at the moment when the book was introduced to me, I just borrowed it. And this friend of mine agreed. The first time I read the book, I thought that there is nothing wrong with it, but soon as I dig deep i...

GLOBAL VILLAGE

What comes first into your mind when you hear something about GLOBAL VILLAGE? I know this may sound new to you for those who's unfamiliar. But let the Merriam-Webster dictionary define Global Village. Global Village - the world viewed as a community in which distance and isolation have been dramatically reduced by electronic media (as television and the Internet). And for other definition, Global Village means, it's the entire world and its inhabitants. Now, why do I come up with this kind of topic. What's the connection of this compound word in our lives as a Filipino individual? Read on to find out. Very interesting. We have just recently celebrated our church's 25th Anniversary. And coincidently, that was the theme of our church anniversary. It was quite very interesting because Global Village really is a technical term for this digital world. But if we will try to look it in another perspective, in a basic understanding, look at it literally. GLOBAL.. and then VILLA...
