New Year. New haircut. New cellphone. New MP3. Haha.
And the most important thing of all, New ME.
It's been quite a while since the last time I updated my blog. 'Cause I've been very busy these past few weeks due to the demands of the clients at work. Well, simply because of the holiday season. I am so thankful for everything, especially this job, my ever supportive parents, friends and churchmates. I love 'em all. And most of all, my one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. Love him so much! :)
I've noticed that prayer really is such a very powerful tool for a change. For my belief is that, we can't change ourselves. But only Him alone could possibly transform us into something extraordinary. We can plot the direction of our lives but God has the map for us to determine the right way that we should go. For it says on the scripture that we should no longer be conformed into the pattern of this world, but we should allow ourselves to be transformed to the renewing of our minds.
Life indeed really is challenging. But despite all of those adversities, I can cope up with it by trusting the promises of God. I used to declare and claim things in my life. Things that seem impossible to happen for my life, but little by little, God surprisingly reveals it. And that's the exciting part of life when you use to cling on to God's promises.
As I look back Year 2007, there are a lot of drastic changes in my life. Especially when it comes to my attitude. I know I am not perfect but there are times that I am not that good.
God indeed is the God of many chances. His mercy is always there for you. No matter how worst the situation you've been in the past. He reminds us of His one and only son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, all for His great LOVE for us. For JESUS is God's expression of LOVE. That's the kind of perspective that I used to have on the Son.
The best is yet to come! As what many people said. They all have high expectations for this year. But what is the true secret of success? Is it money? Material things? A nice job? A beautiful girlfriend and a handsome boyfriend? Success is something that we all aim for in life. Success had lots of things to offer in life, but true success doesn't stay there. But to be successful in life is to live life to the fullest! The make this day the last day principle. We should all make the most out of what we're doing. Going the extra mile, that is.
Well, we all have our own New Year's resolution. But for me, it's the Lord's will that matters. I know He has great plans in my life. I love this verse in the scripture that says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11. Knowing the will of God isn't hard. Do you know that the answers for those things was just right at the top of your shelves, or it could be in your cabinet, in your study table, etc. etc. etc. It's the Word of God that defines His will for all of us. Let us be fond of reading God's word. Truly, the answers are all there. But always seek the wisdom from God to understand what a particular scripture meant for your life.
I have a lot of things to share but time really ticks from time to time. But if there's a chance i'll continue this post. Again, thank you so much for your precious time on reading my blog posts. I really do appreciate that. Just to wrap things up, enjoy everything! This year 2008, let us all be thankful that we have all overcame the past and that we're now moving forward for a change. Let us all aim for higher things this year! God didn't meant for us to be in average, but to reach the highest possible dream. Dream BIG fellows! So, I gotta go now. Thanks again for your time. God Bless all of you! Ü
