My first blog ever! (only on this site)

hahaWell, first and foremost, I would like to introduce myself. Other than my name, (you know exactly what my name is, right?) It's about how they used to call me. Well, what I used to hear was, Les, Lester, whatever. My Dad used to call me Prinsipe when I was a kid. Some of my uncles, "Lesteroy!" and so on and so forth. I am a person who loves to be in an adventure. I am an adventurous person who always wants to try new things. Things that are far from what we used to do. But, don't get me wrong, I'm not (yet) CRAZY. Haha! But sometimes, I just got the idea that, being crazy sometimes, would let you do those unusual things that you've never been done before. But let me ask myself now, what are those things anyway?

One of the things that I would like to try doing was.. Hmm.. What about climbing a mountain that was never heard of before? And then soon as I reached the peak of this mountain, there I'll stay for a night, watching those stars in the sky and pray. Alone. Thanking God for all of what He had done in my life. That Life really isn't unfair. Because some of the people thought of Life that way. (In fact, sometimes, I do.) But I just let go of everything.

Well, that was just a piece of me. I haven't mentioned much of me yet, pretty obvious. Isn't it? Hehe!
I might as well a type of person who always wanted to seek Friendship on every person I met. (but.. it depends!) Of course, I have to consider the kind of attitude that this person has. Well, it doesn't mean that I'm choosy. It's just that, there are some people who are just faking it. (for the sake of something - sometimes! the so called, hidden agendas) Alright, nevermind about that. All of us are looking for real friends. Because we find comfort in a friend and most of all, we may as well seek sound advise from them. (more than our parents could do.. Haha!) Because there are instances that we can't just open-up everything to our parents. Issues that are sometimes too personal.

I always love to read books. But these days, I'm kinda busy. So, I find it hard for me to just sit down for a long while and then read my favorite book. I have a lot of books that are stocked up for future killing time purposes. Funny it seems, but, reading books for me are just to kill time. But if that is for an academic purpose, that would mean something reasonable. One of my favorite books for leisure was the book written by Mitch Albom, I've read most of his books. I'm currently reading, "For One More Day." Na up to now, di ko pa tapos! Hehe. The story really is so heart warming. The story is all about, a MOM and a Son. One of his works that are one of my favorites was, "Tuesdays with Morrie." Better check this book out, it's a story about the existence of our lives. Very relevant on all of the issues that we're all going through.

*Well, that's all for now. Time flies! Gotta go! The continuation.. that would be the next time around if I had time. Thanks for reading this one anyway. Good day! God Bless.Ü

The prayer of the gimper named JABEZ (read 1 Chronicles 4:9-10)

Hey guys! Thanks you so much for reading this post that I have just recently posted. I would really appreciate if you'll leave some comments. Thanks. I know, for some of you, or most of the Christians are familiar with this man named Jabez. And He's a gimper. What do we mean by gimper anyway? A gimper according to Seume was someone who always does a little more than what's required or expected. Are we like that? Do we always do the extra mile in everything we do? Or just do things plain and simple. And then that's the end of it? Our mind is always preoccupied on reaching success. But in the life of this man named Jabez. He did something in life that is really extraordinary that made God answer his prayer. If we will try to look back in the history, names does have its own meaning. And in that time where names are meaningful which greatly reflects who you are. (as what they used to say) The name Jabez, means "pain." Now, what are you thinking of right now?...

The book called.. THE SECRET

I wonder why I have this book. In the first place, it wasn't mine. I only borrowed it from a friend of mine who is also interested on reading the book. Actually, the manner that I had when I borrowed the book isn't that really okay. But because of the kindness that my friend had shown to me, I took advantage of it. Haha! I really forced her to lend me the book even if she wasn't yet finished reading it. But what I'm wondering is that, why am I so excited to read this book even if I had no idea at all what the book is all about. Is it because of the title of book that gives me an impression that indeed it was really an interesting book to read at. The book was called THE SECRET. The first time I glanced the book, it was like a tickle of mystery that I felt. Then, right at the moment when the book was introduced to me, I just borrowed it. And this friend of mine agreed. The first time I read the book, I thought that there is nothing wrong with it, but soon as I dig deep i...

GLOBAL VILLAGE

What comes first into your mind when you hear something about GLOBAL VILLAGE? I know this may sound new to you for those who's unfamiliar. But let the Merriam-Webster dictionary define Global Village. Global Village - the world viewed as a community in which distance and isolation have been dramatically reduced by electronic media (as television and the Internet). And for other definition, Global Village means, it's the entire world and its inhabitants. Now, why do I come up with this kind of topic. What's the connection of this compound word in our lives as a Filipino individual? Read on to find out. Very interesting. We have just recently celebrated our church's 25th Anniversary. And coincidently, that was the theme of our church anniversary. It was quite very interesting because Global Village really is a technical term for this digital world. But if we will try to look it in another perspective, in a basic understanding, look at it literally. GLOBAL.. and then VILLA...
